Rev. Dr Victor & First Lady Muriel Mbah
Pastor Mbah Victor Hails from Batibo in the North West of the great nation of Cameroon in West Africa. After obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering in the Polytechnic Calabar, he was back in was to Cameroon where he worked with the Department of public works in Bamenda. While in Bamenda, he was made the provincial coordinator of the Cameroon Youths for Jesus North West. Cameroon Youths for Jesus is a non-denominational Christian group with soul purpose of preaching Christ to the unsaved. As part of their programs they also went about ministering the word of God in colleges and higher institutions and in villages across the province. He later enrolled in Rhema Bible College in Johannesburg South Africa, in 1989 where he graduated and was ordained as a Reverend Pastor. Upon completion from Bible College he then moved to Germany where he did missionary work in the cities of Essen and Biliefeld.
The Lord then brought him across the Atlantic Ocean to Omega Gospel Mission in Washington D.C. where he served as a co-pastor to the very man that sponsored him at Rhema South Africa. Rev. Dr. Toby Awasum and His dear wife Jeannette. He did served with them for over a period of seven months from where Pastor Victor was brought to Houston TX in 2001 to begin what we now know as Omega Gospel Ministries Houston. By the grace of God Pastor Victor has preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ in 3 different continents of the world. In Africa, Europe and United States of America. Pastor Victor, as he is popularly known, is a true man of God, deeply committed to the Kingdom mission and driven by a strong desire to win souls for Jesus. Upon coming to Houston our community has never been the same again. He had been relentless in his effort to bring love, peace and reconciliation to many families in our community. It is with the same fervor that he is nurturing a body of believers here at Omega Church by teaching them to fulfill the great commission of the Lord and develop them to spiritual maturity and victorious life. By the grace of God Pastor Victor is married to his beautiful wife the first lady of Omega Houston Sis Muriel Njei. As a coworker in the ministry with her husband she is the Prayer force of the Church.
They are blessed with their four young sons. We believe that Pastor Victor is a true servant of the Lord, sent to our community at this point in time in our history for a definite purpose. Being the first in our community the Lord send to start a Church we believe God that through the work at Omega Gospel Ministries our community will be impacted and many would come to know Jesus Christ as a personal Lord and Savior thereby discovering their God given purpose and destiny for their lives.
